Singer, teacher, builder, mother.... Johanna is a true Renaissance woman of pioneer stock.
She started singing madrigals & traditional folk songs in high school, and has been growing her repertoire ever since,
venturing into R&B, soul and rock.

Amelia Lawrence Darrow (Lead
vocals)
Despite Amelia's occasional neglect of her musical roots, she stumbled
back to a place where music plays a central role in her life. Growing
up in the rich folk counter-culture of Cambridge Mass, she nows
finds herself working for the establishment in the midst of the
music industry. BroadBand gives her a place to display her vocal
range both in scale and form. |

Bahman Mahdavi (Guitar, Vocals)
Bahman played in his first band when the Beatles were still together.
There have been several hiatuses over the years, but he's in the thick of it now, happy to be playing with such an outstanding group of talented musicians.

Steve Frankel (Bass, Guitar, Steel
Guitar)
Steve moved from Virginia to Brattleboro in 2006. Down south he
played bass in blues and rock bands and steel guitar in Tears and
Whiskey, a popular honky-tonk band. His musical career started in
the Washington DC area where he played guitar in soul bands during
the 60’s. He also plays bass with local band, Soul Design
and is active with the Vermont Jazz Center.

Bob Everingham (Guitar, Vocals)
Bob has been playing guitar since 1985, and is still trying (mostly unsuccessfully)
to make it sound like a cross between a drum kit and a tenor sax.
